Srinagar Police arrests 02 shopkeepers for violating Govt prohibitory orders

April 01: “`Acting tough against the violators of Government prohibitory orders, Srinagar Police have arrested two shopkeepers for defying Govt orders.

In the jurisdiction of Police Station Sadder, two shopkeepers were booked for defying the Govt prohibitory orders. They have been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Rah resident of Housing Colony Chanpora and Ghulam Nabi Hajam resident of Lalnagar Chanpora.

Accordingly, cases vide FIR numbers 52/2020 and 53/2020 under relevant sections of law have been registered in Police Station Sadder and further investigations into the cases have been initiated.

Police have once again requested the general public to follow the restrictions imposed by Government in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and those who are violating the restrictions will be dealt strictly.“`
