CBK  produces chargesheet  before CJM, Ganderbal against two accused persons

Jammu, November 30 ( KINS):  Crime Branch Kashmir produced charge-sheet in case FIR No.70/2007 U/S 420, 258, 259, 260, 467, 468, 471, 120-B, 201 RPC, of Police Station Crime Branch Kashmir, before the e Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Ganderbal against accused persons namely Javid Ahmad Matta S/o Habib-Ullah R/o Anantnag and Syed Showkat Hussain Qadri S/o Gh Mustafa Qadri R/o Umer Colony Lal Bazar Srinagar for preparing fake stamp papers and used these stamp papers for execution of the sale deed, which caused loss to the state exchequer.

The brief facts of the case are that Crime Branch Kashmir received a communication from Hon’ble Court of Sub-Registrar Ganderbal alleging therein that the stamp duty papers used for the sale deed are fictitious, forged, though the same appear to be original and accordingly the instant case was registered in Crime Branch Kashmir.

During the course of investigation, it was established that the accused namely Javid Ahmad Matta S/0 Habibullah R/O Anantnag and Syed Showkat Hussain Qadri S/O Ch Mustafa Qadri R/O Umer Colony Lal Bazar Srinagar in a well- knit criminal conspiracy prepared the fake stamp papers. The accused persons used to sell these fake stamp papers to the people for executing the sale deeds etc, which caused loss to the state exchequer.

It is pertinent to mention here that the above mentioned accused persons were also figured in case FIR No 71/2007 U/S 420,258,259,260,467,468, 471, 120-B, 201 PC for which the Charge-Sheet of the case was also produced before the  Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar.( KINS)
