J&K’s Shergari Police Station in Srinagar Clinches Top Honor as One of the Nation’s ‘Best’

Srinagar, Dec 28:The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has recognized Shergari Police Station in Srinagar among the three ‘best’ police stations nationwide. The Joint Director & Conference Secretary of the Intelligence Bureau, MHA GoI, conveyed this prestigious acknowledgment to the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Srinagar.
The selection of Shergari Police Station as one of the top three in the country for 2023 was communicated through an official communique by the Administrative Officer to the Director General of Police, J&K (Jammu).
In honor of this achievement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to present the trophy to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Shergari Police Station on January 5, 2024, during a ceremony at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur.
The SHO has been specifically directed to attend the event in person to receive the prestigious award from Home Minister Amit Shah, marking a momentous recognition of the exemplary work and dedication exhibited by Shergari Police Station.
