Barzulla hit and run case: Elderly woman killed, police identifies the two Wheeler

Srinagar, March 09  : Police on Saturday claimed to have identified the two wheeler involved in a hit and run case that lead to the death of an elderly lady at Barzulla area of Srinagar.

Reports said a 75-year-old woman was hit by a two wheeler at around 03:30 pm on Friday at Barzulla.

The elderly identified as Haleema begum, wife of Dr Mohd Rafiq Khan of Baghat Barzulla however succumbed to her injuries later. The two wheeler that had hit her escaped from the spot of incident but police said that have been successful in tracing the scooty number.

A police official told that they have narrowed down the number of the scooty involved in the hit and run case. “We will soon apprehend the accused,” he said.(KNO)
