5 dead, 8 injured as passenger vehicle plunges into gorge in J&K’s Ramban

Srinagar: Five passengers died while eight others suffered injured after a mini-bus skidded into a deep gorge in Ramban Jammu and Kashmir. The deceased include a child and two women, reports said.

Reports said a passenger cab skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge on Chanderkoot-Rajgarh link road today morning.

They said five passengers, including two women and a child, died on the spot while eight others were injured.

An official said the injured were rushed to district hospital Ramban where the condition of some of them is stated to be critical.
