Srinagar, May 30 : Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Shri S.P Pani today visited Sub Division Kokernag. DIG SKR Shri Atul Kumar and SSP Anantnag Shri Altaf Ahmad Khan besides other officers of the district were accompanying IGP Kashmir.
IGP visited Police Station Kokernag where he held an interaction with the officials and jawans. IGP Kashmir complimented the officers for their dedication and commitment and urged upon them to continue their duties with same passion besides emphasized on the officials to adopt people-friendly practices while discharging their duties.
He urged upon the officers to prioritize the redressal of grievances reported at the Police Station in a professional manner and to ensure frequent interaction with the locals which will help in creating a strong bond between police and public. IGP highlighted that such community outreach programmes help us in better understanding of problems faced by people.
