Sopore Police seized illegal timber, accused along with horse held

Sopore : Sopore police on Friday claimed to have siezed illegal timber in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad village of Sopore police jurisdiction.

Police in a statement said that during intervening night of 13/14 of June 2019. Police party of police station Dangiwacha laid a Naka in their jurisdiction at budden, during Naka apprehended one smuggler along with horse loaded with illicit timber.

Accused identified as Nasser Ahmad Khan S/O Aashiq Khan R/O Ladi Aagan Rafiabad. Accused along with horse arrested and Illicit timberseized. Case registered investigation taken up.
