Srinagar, June 26: A militant has been recovered from the encounter site after a gunfight raged between militants and government forces in Branpatri forests area of Kahlil Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday morning.
A senior police officer told that one militant body has been recovered so far from the encounter amid ongoing search operation.
The officer further said that there is possibility of recovering more militant bodies from the encounter site, as off now no firing firing is going on, the officer said.
Earlier reports reaching said that a joint team of Army’s 42RR , 180BN of CRPF and SOG launched a cordon and search operation in the area.(GNS)
