The National Investigation Agency (NIA ) on Monday carried out fresh raid of house of IPS officer & his brother in Dragad village of Shopian district.
Sources told Kashmir Indepth that NIA sleuths assisted by J&K police and paramilitary CRPF carried out raid at the house of IPS officer and his brother on early Monday at Dragad Shopian in connection with the arrest of former J&K police DSP Davinder Singh and Hibz commander Naveed Babbu.
Sources said the IPS officer’s brother was militant and was killed in 2019 during encounter with forces in Shopian.
Pertinently, former J&K police DSP Davinder Singh was caught while transporting two militants Naveed Babbu, Rafi Ahmed and a lawyer Irfan Ahmed in his vehicle to Jammu on January 11.
