Covid-19 Bandipora admin warns rumor mongers of strict action


BANDIPORA, MARCH 07: District administration Bandipora on Friday warned of strict action against rumor mongering, creating fear among the people with regard to the Corona virus and appealed public not to pay any attention to baseless rumors.


Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza said there has been no virus affected suspect in the district. He said miscreants have been circulating fake news on social media to create fear among the people. “Strict action will be taken against those found involved in such activities,” he said.


He said he has already directed police to identify such elements and arrest them under relevant laws immediately.
