COVID-19, DC Shopian visits Kachdoora red zone

Srinagar, June 08 (KINS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, today took stock of arrangements put in place for COVID-19 positive patients at red zone Kachdoora, Dangam area of district Shopian.

On the occasion, the DC directed the health functionaries to work with added zeal and dedication and provide every possible help to the people especially positive cases.

He interacted with the locals and gave patient hearing to their issues, assuring them that the district administration is fully geared to provide healthcare facilities to the people.

The DC further sought people’s cooperation so that the district administration is able to cater their needs and deliver essential commodities at their doorsteps, he also urged them to stay indoors and desist from coming out of their homes unnecessarily.

He stressed them to adhere to the advisories issued by the health department from time to time to avoid further transmission of virus.

A team of concerned civil and police officers were accompanying the DC during the visit. (KINS)
