September 15: Police in Handwara along with security forces have arrested a militant associate in Kralgund area and recovered arms & ammunition from his possession.
On a specific input, a cordon and search operation was launched by Handwara Police along with 32 RR and 92 CRPF in Village Nehama Kralgund. During search, one militant associate identified as Shahid Hassain dar resident of Nehama Kralgund was apprehended.
Incriminating materials including arms and ammunitions were recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No. 88/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Kralgund and investigation has been initiated.
