DC Kupwara presides over Awareness/ interaction programme at Bramri, Drugmulla

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 18 ( KINS): The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara today visited Bramri Drugmulla area of Kupwara district and presided over the Awareness cum public interaction camp organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Kupwara.

Addressing the camp, the Deputy Commissioner said that agriculture is the backbone of rural economy adding that the farmers need to implement the latest scientific technology and guidelines in farming so as to boost their income and livelihood.

He directed the concerned officers to provide mass awareness to the farmers across the district about scientific ways of farming and improving their productivity.

Scientists from KVK Kupwara and other officers provided detailed awareness to the farmers and participants during the camp.

BDC Chairperson Drugmulla, Officers, PRIs and farmers in large numbers participated in the camp. ( KINS)
