Srinagar, Dec 29: In a distinguished ceremony at the Police Headquarters in Jammu, Director General of Police for Jammu and Kashmir, R.R. Swain, conferred the coveted ADGP rank upon newly promoted IPS officers S Anand Jain and Nitish Kumar.
The event, graced by ADGP (Hqrs/Coord.) PHQ M.K Sinha, witnessed heartfelt congratulations from the DGP to the officers and their families. Expressing optimism, Shri Swain encouraged them to maintain their commitment and dedication to the department and the public. Shri Anand Jain, presently serving as IGP Jammu, and Shri Nitish Kumar, currently posted as IGP CID J&K, have a commendable record of holding key positions in their illustrious careers within the police force.
