DGP RR Swain Extends Greetings to Police Pariwaar & People of J&K on New Year’s Eve

Jammu, December 31: Welcoming the dawn of 2024 as the inception of a new era filled with promise and possibilities, R.R. Swain, the Director General of Police for Jammu and Kashmir, has extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the resilient J&K Police force, the families of fallen heroes, and the entire populace of the region.

In his New Year message, the DGP emphasized the significance of reflecting on past experiences and lessons, while eagerly embracing the adventures that the future holds. He urged everyone to renew their commitment to upholding the core values of the police force and to serve the community with compassion, professionalism, and unwavering diligence. Looking ahead to 2024, he encouraged a collective effort to pursue excellence, embrace innovation, and continuously enhance operational processes and systems.

The DGP stressed the importance of collaboration with the community and various stakeholders, highlighting that by working together, a safer and more harmonious society can be built. Expressing optimism, he conveyed his hope that every member of the Police “pariwar” (family) would persist in their efforts to contribute to the establishment of a secure society, maintaining peace, upholding order, and ensuring the enforcement of laws.
