School timings changed in Kashmir Division from November 1: DSEK issues new schedule

Srinagar, October 30 (KINS): The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Friday announced a change in school timings for both Government and recognized private schools across the Kashmir Division, effective from November 1, 2025.

According to Order No. 309-DSEK of 2025, the new timings will be as follows:

Schools falling within the Srinagar Municipal limits: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Schools located outside the Municipal limits of Srinagar District and in other areas of Kashmir Province: 10:30 am to 3:30 pm

The Directorate has directed all institutions to strictly adhere to the revised timings without any deviation.

The change in schedule comes as part of the seasonal adjustment to school timings with the onset of winter in the Valley. (KINS)
