Ahead of Meeting with National Leadership, Congress District Presidents Meet PCC Leadership in Delhi
Srinagar, April 4 (KINS): Ahead of their scheduled meeting with the party’s central leadership, the District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents of Jammu and Kashmir convened under the chairmanship of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters, 24 Akbar Road, in Delhi.
AICC General Secretary and CLP Leader G.A. Mir was also present at the meeting.
Discussions focused on organizational affairs, the current political situation in J&K, and strategies to strengthen the party. Leaders emphasized the importance of reinforcing the Congress’s role as a dynamic political force in alignment with its core principles and ideology.
Ahead of their meeting later in the day with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary (Organization) K.C. Venugopal, and General Secretary In-Charge of J&K Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, the DCC Presidents engaged in detailed deliberations with the state leadership. The discussions aimed to identify key issues to be presented before the central leadership for further strengthening the party and ensuring its crucial role in Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape.(KINS)
