Commissioner Secretary reviews progress on recommendations of Committee on Business Revival in J&K

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 22: Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Manoj K. Dwivedi, today reviewed progress on recommendations of the Committee on Business Revival in Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting had a detailed discussion on various financial and administrative measures recommended for revival of business sector in the UT as per timelines set by Lieutenant Governor during the review meeting held on 12th October 2020.

The meeting was attended by Administrative Secretary Hospitality Protocol/ Civil Aviation, Rukshana Ganaie, Transport Commissioner, Pardeep Kumar besides representatives of Finance, Tourism, Housing and Urban Development, Youth Service and Sports, Forest, Health and Medical Education Department.

Commissioner Secretary asked the concerned authorities to ensure that all recommendations shall be implemented in a time bound manner besides monitoring progress on day to day basis. He had a detailed deliberation on progress made, so far, on the recommendations pertaining to Finance, Tourism Sector, Housing and Transport sector. He asked the departmental representatives to furnish the updated status on the points under implementation immediately so that the recommendations are implemented fully.
