UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 11 ( KINS): To generate awareness among the Tribal people about Government of India flagship programme Poshan Abhiyan, Directorate of Information & Public Relations (J&K), in collaboration with Tribal Research Institute, J&K and National Health Mission presented a theme based Nukad Natak here at Panchayat Ghar Ladana of Tehsil Ramnagar.
District Information Officer, Udhampur Rajinder Kumar Digra presided over the programme.
The theme based street Play was presented by the Local Artists explaining the importance of adequate Nutrition for better health of children, women and adults. The performers mesmerised the audience by their artistic presentation.
The District Information Officer, Udhampur highlighted the importance of Poshan and added that proper nutrition is vital at every stage of life.
ICDS Health & Nutrition Mobilizer, Jyoti Sharma also threw light on the importance of nutritious food, health and hygiene.
Among others, Local Sarpanch, Khem Raj, Panches, Tribal Community members and general public of the area besides officials of the Information, Health and ICDS department were present. ( KINS)
