Amid rains, forces launch search operation in Sopore village

Sopore, Feb 22 : Amid rains, forces launched a cordon and search operation in North Kashmir’s Sopore village on Thursday afternoon.

Reports said a joint team of forces including Army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police (SOG) and CRPF jointly conducted searches in Warpora village of Sopore this afternoon.

Reports said forces conducted house to house search operation in the area amid rains and harsh weather conditions.

SSP Sopore Javeed Iqbal also confirmed the search operation to Kashmir Indepth News and said searches in the village was launched following inputs of militants presence in the area.
