Power crisis : B’pora residents protest against PDD

Bandipora, March 18 : Residents of Bonakoot and its adjoining areas in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district up in arms against PDD authorities for failed to restore electricity in these areas.

Reports said scores of people including women blocked Bandipora- Gurez road to register their protest against PDD authorities.

Protesting residents while alleged concern PDD officials who as per them hardly bother to redress the electricity problem in these areas.

Residents while raising anti PDD slogans said that if their grievance were not resolved at earliest they ll go for bigger protest.

Meanwhile officials at PDD when contacted assured that their demand ll be redressed at earliest.
