A father on Friday allegedly slit throat of his minor son in Lisser village of Kokernag area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A minor boy identified as Usman Gowhar was rushed to District hospital Anantnag in critical condition after his throat was slit allegedly by his father.
Meanwhile, officials in the District Hospital Anantnag said that a four-year-old boy was brought to the hospital today in critical condition as his throat was slit while his arm was also gashed at several places.
They said that boy is undergoing treatment and his condition is stable.
However, police sources said that the accused, Gowhar Ahmed Dar has been arrested while a case under RPC 307, 32/2019 has been registered in this regard.
They said that investigation has also been started. (KNS)
