First Friday after four months in Srinagar”s Jamia

Srinagar : First time after four months authorities allowed people to offer Friday congregation prayers at historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.

Reports reaching Kashmir Indepth said authorities on Friday allowed people to offer congregation prayers at historic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar which was closed for the period of over months since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 05 by BJp led government.

Reports said this was first time when all routes leading towards Jamia were open and people in large number offered Friday congregation prayers in the mosque after the gap of 137 days.
