KTMF Demands immediate release of Trade leader Yaseen Khan

Srinagar, Jan 30 : The Kashmir Traders and Manufactures federation on today called the administration to release the business leader and President KTMF Mohammad Yaseen Khan.

A  Traders delegation led by acting president Manzoor Ahmad, Mohammad Asla Matoo, Farooq Ahmad Shah and Fayaz Ahmad Khan  told Kashmir News service that his health condition is deteriorating in the prison and should be released from Jail.

They said his family and whole trader’s community are worried about his health as he has to regularly take medicines for different ailments.

They added that they approached the higher authorities several times and were given assurance by them but so far he has not been released by the authorities.

They also said that he was not allowed to be part of his mother’s last rites who passed away on 24 October last year.

The traders also said they are worried about the Khan after hearing the news of heart attack of Mian Qayoom in Agra Jail. 

Khan along with dozens others was arrested in the first week of august when the centre abrogated the special status of Jammu and Kashmir
