DDC reviews FCS&CA sector of Anantnag

ANANTNAG, JUNE 13: District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, K.K Sidha reviewed the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs sector of district Anantnag.

The Assistant Director FCS&CA informed the meeting about the functioning of various aspects of the department besides status of implementation of schemes like IMPDS, PM Ghareeb Kalyan Ana Yojna, Aatmanirbhar Bharat for non-local labourers, Ujwala Yojna Scheme and One Nation One Ration Card.

The Assistant Director assured the meeting that sufficient food grains are available at gowdowns and there is no shortage of food grains in Anantnag. 

The DDC while speaking on the occasion stressed upon all officials of FCS&CA for fair distribution of food and essential commodities, he also directed the officials to aware the consumers about the different schemes of FCS&CA.

He said that TSOs are the backbone of the department and they must be vibrant to improve the distribution of food grains and to curb the black marketing. 

The DDC also directed the officials to keep e-record of all progresses developments, complaints and ensure the uploading of all day-to-day happenings of the department including market checking, hoarding in and out sales and ensure digitalization, usage of social application like WhatsApp, facebook for fast redressal of problems.

He further stressed officers to make committees and involve Panchs and Sarpanchs for fair distribution of food grains to the poor and needy with no grievance or complaint and if any should be dealt strictly.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Director Food and Civil Supplies, Anantnag, all TSOs and other concerned officials of the department.
