Police constable dies of cardiac arrest in Verinag

Srinagar, July 16(KINS): A 45-year-old Police constable died due to cardiac arrest in south Kashmir’s Anantnag village on Thursday.


An official told Kashmir Indepth News Service(KINS) that a police constable identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Parray son of Ghulam Qadir Parray, a resident of Ukjan Dialgam suffered a heart attack on Thursday afternoon while he was on duty at police post Verinag.
“He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival,” he said.


An Incharge police officer also confirmed this incident to KINS and said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.
