JeM module busted in Budgam, 3 held: Police

Srinagar, July 22: Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a Jaish module in central Kashmir’s Budgam district and arrested three militant associates.


In a statement Police said, Acting on a specific input Budgam Police , Army’S 50 RR and 29 Bn CRPF arrested 03 militant associates from Chadoora area during naka checking.

The militant associates have been identified as Javaid Ah Bhat S/o Mohd Ismail R/o Pulwama Ajaz Wani S/o Rehman Wani R/o Chitroo Dangerpora and Aqib Ganaie S/o Zahoor AhmadR/o Khansaib.


Following incriminating material has been recovered from their possession
40 rounds of AK 47,02 Detonators,03 JeM matrix sheets,
This group was involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active militants of banned organisation JEM.


In this regard case FIR no 120/2020 under relevant sections of UAPA has been registered in PS Chadoora, and investigation was taken up.
