DDC Kulgam reviews functioning of RDD

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 18: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the overall functioning of Rural Development Department (RDD) here.

During the meeting DDC took a comprehensive review of progress on various centrally sponsored schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), 14th FC and status of B2V works.

All the BDO’s apprised the DDC about the status of work projects in their respective blocks and achievements made so far under various schemes.

The meeting was attended by ACD, BDO’s and other officers and officials from the Rural Development Department.

Earlier DDC listened to grievances, issues and demands of people under Jan Sunvayi programme during which several issues were redressed on the spot.
