ROC J&K office extends Legal Traineeship Prog for another one year

SRINAGAR, JULY 6 (KINS): Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs has extended the legal traineeship program by a year for fresh law graduates and undergraduate law students of Jammu and Kashmir.

A Letter was issued by Haamid Bukhari, AROC and Asstt Official Liquidator (Attached to High Court of J&K) to all the law schools and Universities requesting them to nominate 4-5 law students for the said program. Bukhari in the letter has mentioned the terms and conditions for the said programme.

Bukhari said that this is first of its kind program where in, law students of J&K would get an exposure to work with the Government of India’s offices at both  Jammu and Srinagar and would learn the new aspects like Corporate Law and related compliances.

The development of Corporate Culture in J&K is very important and this should serve as a first step in right direction. Last year too, the legal traineeship program was successfully culminated at the Srinagar office of ROC where in, only Law School from Kashmir University participated. (KINS)
