  Riyaz Beigh assumes charge as Addl Mission Director, JKRLM

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 21 ( KINS ) : Riyaz Ahmad Beigh today assumed the charge of Additional Mission Director Kashmir, J&K Rural Livelihoods Mission (RLM) popularly known now as UMEED.

Immediately after assuming office Riyaz held a meeting with the officials of Kashmir Division and emphasized on providing accountable, responsive administration to the people.

He further asked the officers to work with zeal and dedication and fulfill the purpose of the mission.

While informing him about the overall progress made by the Mission in the Kashmir Division, it was given out that 236163  Rural women have been federated into 28185 SHGs  and an amount of Rs 1018435 crores has been provided to the SHGs as capitalization from the Mission till july.

Earlier on his arrival the officer was welcomed by the officials of the Department and assured him of full support in fulfilling the aims, objectives and goals of the Mission.
