DC G’bl reviews progress of District Capex plan, B2V3  

 

GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 08 (KINS ) : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today reviewed the progress of works proposed under District Capex Budget 2021-22 and B2V3 works.

 

The meeting discussed detailed proposals under the District Capex Plan, 2021-22 including physical status of projects targeted for completion in the current fiscal and took a comprehensive review on the progress of developmental projects undertaken by various departments.

 

The DC sought details from the heads of departments including Rural Development, Health, Education, JKPDCL, R&B and Jal Shakti besides other sectors about the approved works, tendering status and progress of ongoing projects/works.

 

The meeting was informed that under District Capex 1893 works are approved which include 1851 works of PRI grants, 36 works of District Sector and 6 works of NABARD.

 

While reviewing the progress on authorization of works, the CPO informed the meeting that out of 1893 works, 1119 works are authorized and tenders are also floated for most of the works; besides, 37 works are also completed.

 

Regarding B2V3, the meeting was informed that 254 are approved under B2V3 in the district out of which 208 works are allotted, 37 are completed and rest works are in the tendering process.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the DC maintained that the district administration is committed to ensure all development projects/works are completed within set timeline and stressed on the concerned officers/officials to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion and exhorted for completing the tendering process of pending works within shortest possible time.

 

Among others, the meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, CMO, SE, R&B, Executive Engineers of various wings, BDOs and other concerned.
