Army Service Corps Tornadoes organise motorcycle expedition

Srinagar, 27 Oct ( KINS). To commemorate 261st Army Service Corps Day on 08 Dec 2021, a motorcycle expedition by Army Service Corps Tornadoes is being undertaken from Udhampur to New Delhi (via Srinagar & Leh) covering a distance of 2500 kms.
Army Service Corps Tornadoes has been the cynosure of the Corps, epitomizing the spirit of adventure, dare-devilry, technical skills and esprit-de-corps. Tornadoes have displayed their skills in thousands of shows across the length and breadth of the nation and have represented India in various international gatherings. They already have 32 World Records to their fame out of which 9 were achieved in Nov 2020 itself.
The team consisting of 11 riders on Royal Enfield Himalayan led by Maj Shivam Singh, started this expedition from Udhampur on 25 Oct 2021 and will be passing through Srinagar – Kargil – Leh – Khardung La – Siachen Base Camp – Leh – Pang – Shimla – Chandigarh and finally culminate at National War Memorial New Delhi on 11 Nov 2021.
The motorcycle expedition was flagged off by Lieutenant General DP Pandey, General Officer Commanding, Chinar Corps at Srinagar on 27 Oct 2021.( KINS)
