Dept of Labour & Employment, Ramban, to Organize Public Grievance Redressal Camp to Showcase Financial Schemes & Scholarships under J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board

Srinagar Dec 03: In a bid to address the concerns and facilitate the needs of the general public, the Department of Labour & Employment in Ramban is set to host a Public Grievance Redressal Camp at Dak Banglow Mahu on January 4, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM.
The event aims to enlighten attendees about various financial schemes, scholarships, and other benefits provided under the Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. With a focus on the welfare of construction workers, the camp seeks to bridge the gap between government initiatives and the community, providing a platform for direct interaction and problem resolution.

Residents of Mahu and the surrounding areas, particularly those in the Banihal Sub Division, are encouraged to participate in the event. The camp will offer valuable insights into the schemes designed to uplift the lives of workers associated with the construction sector. Attendees will have the opportunity to seek information, clarification, and redressal of grievances directly from representatives of the Department of Labour & Employment.

The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in governance. By bringing these services to the local level, the authorities aim to ensure that eligible individuals are aware of and can benefit from the various welfare programs available to them.

The Public Grievance Redressal Camp promises to be an informative and interactive session, fostering a collaborative approach between the community and the Department of Labour & Employment in Ramban. This outreach initiative reflects a proactive stance in addressing the concerns of the public and creating a conducive environment for the betterment of workers associated with the construction industry in the region.
