Voting underway in Udhampur LS seat 16.23 voters to decide fate of 12 candidates today

Srinagar April 19 : The first phase of Lok Sabha polls in Jammu and Kashmir has begin today from Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency where there are 12 candidates in the election fray.

There are 12 candidates in the battle while 16.23 people are eligible to cast their vote. Out of 16.23 voters, 9,22,783 are in Udhampur and Kuthua districts.

The constituency was represented by Congress’s Lal Singh in 2004 and 2009 and then BJP’s Jitendra Singh in 2014 and 2019.
