BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul Pays Tribute to Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh in Heerpora Shopian

Srinagar, May 26: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul visited the house of Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh in Heerpora, Shopian, who was killed by unidentified gunmen last week.
Ashok Koul was accompanied by BJP J&K Vice President Sofi Yousuf, District President Shopian Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Media Incharge Kashmir Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, Social Media Incharge Sahil Bashir Bhat, Senior Leader Veer Saraf, Prabhari Shopian Sajad Raina, Senior Leader Javaid Qadari, Qayoom Rahi, Youth Leader Raja Waseem, and Protocol Incharge Mohammad Akeel.
During the visit, Ashok Koul expressed his deep condolences and solidarity with the grieving family.
He condemned the brutality of the “terrorists and highlighted the community’s loss. A large number of locals were also present, sharing in the sorrow and expressing their grief over the tragic incident”.
Ashok Koul praised Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh as a role model for the youth of Shopian, commending his commitment to peace and brotherhood.
He condemned the “terrorists, labeling them as enemies of humanity and Kashmiriyat, who had taken the life of a true son of the soil”.
He assured the family that the martyrdom Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh would not be forgotten and promised all possible assistance to them.
He reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to stand by its members and support them in any situation.
