5 children among 8 killed in Daksum road accident
Srinagar, July 27: Eight people, including five, were killed when a vehicle rolled down a slope near the Daksum area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials reported that a Sumo vehicle lost control and rolled down the road near Daksum. The vehicle was carrying a family of five children, two women, and one man, traveling from Kishtwar.
An official said a policeman along with five children and two ladies died in an accident near Arashan Daksum.
 Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
