Ghulam Jeelani assumes charge as SSP Kupwara

Srinagar, Aug 31 (KINS): Ghulam Jeelani, a senior officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS), officially assumed charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara.
A formal handover ceremony was held at the District Police Headquarters, Kupwara, where the outgoing SSP, Shobhit Saksena, IPS, passed on the responsibilities to Jeelani.
The ceremony marked a smooth transition of leadership within the district police.
Shobhit Saksena, who has served with distinction, expressed his gratitude to the police personnel and local administration for their support during his tenure.
As per news agency KINS, Ghulam Jeelani, in his remarks, acknowledged the work done by his predecessor and pledged to continue efforts to maintain law and order while ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Kupwara.
The event was attended by senior police officers, district officials, and other dignitaries who conveyed their best wishes to the new SSP and commended the outgoing officer for his service.(KINS)
