Srinagar, Oct 7: Omar Abdullah, the vice president of the National Conference (NC), addressed the comments made by certain leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) regarding their support for the NC-Congress alliance in order to keep the BJP at bay in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated, “I wish we could put a stop to all this premature speculation for the next 24 hours.”
He emphasized, “They haven’t extended support; they haven’t made any offers, and we still don’t know what the voters have decided. Therefore, I genuinely hope we can put a lid on this premature speculation for at least the next 24 hours.” His remarks came in response to comments from his father, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who had shared his views on the support offered by PDP leaders.
