Srinagar, Jan 16 (KINS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir organized a commemorative event in Srinagar, to honor the extraordinary vision and legacy of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The party in a statement issued to news agency KINS said that Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization) of BJP J&K, presided over the gathering, underscoring Dr. Ambedkar’s monumental contributions to nation-building and his lifelong dedication to uplifting marginalized communities.
“Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, justice, and empowerment continue to inspire us. His vision of an inclusive and progressive India guides our party’s mission to ensure social harmony and equal opportunities for all,” Koul remarked in his address.
The statement further reads that the event attracted enthusiastic participation from BJP leaders, party workers, and citizens, who paid glowing tributes to Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy.
Speakers shared thought-provoking insights into his life, highlighting the enduring relevance of his teachings in addressing contemporary societal challenges.
