New Delhi Jan 26 (KINS): Dr. Rashmi Singh, Principal Resident Commissioner of the Jammu and Kashmir Government, unfurled the National Flag on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day at Jammu and Kashmir House.
A contingent of Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police presented the guard of honor during the event. The ceremony was attended by all officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir posted in New Delhi.
In her address, the Principal Resident Commissioner extended her congratulations to the attendees and paid rich tributes to the martyrs and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India’s liberation from British rule.
A colorful cultural program was organized, and a coffee table book and calendar of the Resident Commission were also released during the event.
Later, the Principal Resident Commissioner interacted with the officers and officials of J&K House.(KINS)
