Srinagar, Jan 26 (KINS): The 76th Republic Day was celebrated today at the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Srinagar Wing, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
The event began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Justice Sreedharan then took the salute at the March Past, which was followed by the playing of the National Anthem and patriotic tunes by the Band.
The ceremony was also attended by Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Judge of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh. Other distinguished guests included Mir Syed Latif, Member of the CAT Srinagar Bench; Jaffer Hussain Beg, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar; Tasleem Arief, Registrar Vigilance; Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Registrar Judicial Srinagar Wing; Tahir Majeed Shamsi, DSGI; Waseem Gul, President of the Kashmir Advocates’ Association; and various officers from the police and civil administration, along with law officers and officials of the Srinagar Wing of the High Court.
The event concluded with the distribution of sweets to police and CRPF officials as a gesture of appreciation.(KINS)
