The event was attended by Mr. Tanveer Ahmad Shaheen, Joint Controller of the Legal Metrology Department, and Mr. Nazir Ahmad, Assistant Controller of the Legal Metrology Department.

During the session, the officials shared valuable insights into consumer rights, the importance of accurate weighing and measuring standards, and protection against unfair trade practices. They emphasized the role of the Legal Metrology Department in ensuring compliance with consumer protection laws and encouraged attendees to be vigilant while making purchases.

The campaign provided an interactive and informative platform, where staff members learned about various aspects of consumer laws, including redressal mechanisms for grievances, product standardization, and the importance of checking MRP, expiry dates, and ISI marks on products.
