Crescent Moon not sighted in India, Pakistan
First fast to be observed on March 2
SRINAGAR Feb 28 (KINS): The crescent moon for the holy month of Ramadan was not sighted anywhere in India and Pakistan on Friday. As a result, the first fast (Roza) will be observed on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Ramadan will commence on the evening of March 1, with Taraweeh prayers to be offered in mosques across the country. The first fast will be observed the next day.
