Dr Jitendra Singh holds ‘public durbar’ in Hiranagar, addresses local concerns
Srinagar, Mar 15 (KINS): Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, held a “Public Durbar” in Hiranagar town of Jammu, personally engaging with public delegations to hear and address their concerns. Several issues were resolved on the spot.
The initiative, aimed at bringing government services directly to the people, was attended by local representatives and district officials, including Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rakesh Manhas.
During the interaction, Dr. Singh addressed a range of public grievances and ensured immediate action on many issues. He reiterated the Modi Government’s commitment to resolving citizens’ problems at their doorstep.
“The government’s approach is to bring solutions to the people rather than making them travel long distances for assistance,” he emphasized.
Highlighting the importance of grassroots governance, he added, “Public Durbars are a reflection of proactive governance where every citizen’s voice is heard and addressed.”
Key concerns, including infrastructure development, healthcare services, and connectivity, were discussed, with Dr. Singh assuring swift redressal. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community, with residents expressing gratitude for the government’s direct engagement and prompt response to their issues.(KINS)
