Jailed MP Engineer Rashid’s father passes away at AIIMS Delhi

Srinagar, May 18 (KINS): Haji Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, father of Baramulla Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid, passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi after a prolonged illness.
He was 85.
According to family members, Haji Khazir Mohammad Sheikh had been battling multiple health issues for a long time. He was initially admitted to the Chest Diseases Hospital in Srinagar. As his health condition deteriorated, he was shifted to SMHS Hospital and later referred to AIIMS Delhi for advanced treatment, where he breathed his last.
Engineer Rashid, who is currently lodged in jail, represents the Baramulla parliamentary constituency in Jammu and Kashmir.
