DC Srinagar Chairs DLIC Meeting to Approve Mission Youth Cases

Srinagar, July 08: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting was convened on Monday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi Ud Din Bhat, at the DC Office. The meeting focused on approving Mission Youth cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI) Scheme, the Mumkin Scheme, and the Tejaswini Scheme.
During the session, 12 cases under the SEI Scheme, 5 cases under the Mumkin Scheme, and 14 cases under the Tejaswini Scheme were approved. The meeting extensively discussed the significance of these self-employment initiatives in fostering youth empowerment within the district.
Dr. Bhat highlighted the government’s commitment to empowering unemployed youth through these schemes, offering them opportunities to make their mark in society. He reiterated ongoing efforts to provide more opportunities and proper facilities, urging the youth to educate themselves about and take advantage of government-sponsored schemes to achieve their dreams and aspirations.
The DC also instructed the committee to widely publicize these schemes to ensure inclusivity and to identify and address any implementation bottlenecks.
The meeting was attended by DLIC committee members, including Hamida Akhter, General Manager DIC Srinagar; Fayaz Ahmad, Chief Planning Officer Srinagar; Dr. Sheeba Inayat, Deputy Director Employment Srinagar; Mukhtar Ahmad, District Social Welfare Officer Srinagar; Syed Farhana Asgar, ARTO Srinagar; Nelofar Jan, Lead District Manager Srinagar; and Mubashir from JKEDI Srinagar.
