LG Manoj Sinha interacts with Yuva Sangam Tamil Nadu delegation Highlights Govt’s youth-centric policies, Says, ‘we are committed to empowering youth with the tools they need to succeed’

Srinagar, Dec 13 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today interacted with a youth delegation from Tamil Nadu under the Yuva Sangam initiative at Raj Bhawan.
The Yuva Sangam is part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program, designed to strengthen the people-to-people connect among youth from different states and union territories of India.
The LG lauded the initiative, emphasizing the importance of such exchanges in shaping the nation’s future.
LG as per news gathering agency KINS stated, “For this great initiative of Yuva Sangam, I see a tremendous potential to build bridges of understanding and mutual respect among our youth. Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu have shared cultural ties that transcend centuries, and I strongly believe these two regions are eternally connected.”
While addressing the delegation, the Lieutenant Governor reflected on the rich and ancient history of both regions, acknowledging the pivotal role played by the people of Tamil Nadu and Jammu and Kashmir in shaping the nation’s destiny.
“When I look at these two regions, I see inspiring chapters of history written by men and women who left an indelible mark on the nation. The bond between Tamil Nadu and Jammu Kashmir is timeless, a connection that has existed since time immemorial,” he added.
Sinha also shared his optimism for the youth of India, recognizing their self-confidence, resilience, and social consciousness. “Today’s youth are not afraid of exploring the unknown. Their sharp social consciousness and big dreams are not just for personal growth, but for the betterment of society and the nation as a whole. This gives me great hope for the future,” he said.
Highlighting the progress made in empowering youth, the LG noted that modern facilities and youth-specific policies had been launched over the last decade to create an enabling environment for young people to realize their aspirations. “We are committed to empowering the youth with the tools they need to succeed. The policies and programs we have launched over the past ten years are specifically designed to help you achieve your dreams,” Sinha remarked.
The interaction provided an excellent opportunity for the youth delegation to engage with the Lieutenant Governor, share experiences, and gain insights into the cultural and social dynamics of Jammu and Kashmir.(KINS)
