Govt to act against those responsible for students missing exams: Education Minister

KINS Desk

Srinagar, Feb 18 (KINS): Education Minister Sakeena Itoo Tuesday said that action will be taken against those responsible for students missing their examinations.

Speaking on the matter, the minister revealed that the government recently intervened to ensure that 22 students, who were at risk of missing their exams due to their school’s negligence, were allowed to appear.

“We will not tolerate any lapses from schools or anyone else that affect students’ academic future. Authorities will take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future. We have already initiated an enquiry to know if schools are responsible or if there is fault from any other side,” she told news agency KINS.

The minister stated that educational institutions must fulfill their responsibilities to ensure students do not face unnecessary hardships. (KINS)
