Weatherman predicts fresh spell of rain, snowfall in Kashmir

The weatherman has forecast a fresh spell of rain and snowfall in the Kashmir Valley from today on Tuesday.

The weatherman said a fresh western disturbance is most likely to affect the Kashmir and Ladakh from Tuesday night to December 14 forenoon.

He said light rain or snow would commence at a few places in Kashmir on Tuesday night and thereafter increase in intensity and distribution.

The latest spell of downpour would be the fifth during this month.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Srinagar was recorded as minus 2.4 degrees Celsius, while in Pahalgam and Gulmarg, it was recorded as minus 3.3 and minus 4.0 degrees Celsius respectively.

The night’s lowest temperatures in Jammu city was 8.7 degrees Celsius, Katra 8.2, Batote 8.4, Banihal 2.0 and Bhaderwah 2.0 degree Celsius.
