SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 4: Prof. Manoj K. Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, met Governor Satya Pal Malik, Chancellor of the University, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Prof. Dhar briefed Governor about various important academic and administrative matters, implementation of new quality initiatives under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA-II) and conduct of various literary and cultural events to commemorate University’s 50th year of establishment.
Governor stressed best possible use of opportunities available under RUSA-II for quality enhancement and improvement in teaching, research, skill and entrepreneurship development and for mentoring other institutions. He observed that interventions under RUSA will be helpful in making the University a hub of innovation and start-ups.
